Pricing for freelancers who need to catch small billable work

SoloHours is built for solo professionals whose days are full of quick requests, interrupted tasks, follow-ups, and context switching. Choose the plan that fits how many active projects you manage, not a bloated bundle of features you do not need.

Starter

For freelancers who want to stop missing small billable fragments across a focused set of active projects.

$6 / month

A focused setup for solo work that needs fast capture, clear billing status, and clean exports.

  • Up to 5 active projects
  • Unlimited clients
  • Reports with billable, non-billable, invoiced, and uninvoiced filtering
  • CSV export and invoice-friendly workflow

Best for

Freelancers managing a smaller number of active client projects but still needing to track fragmented work accurately.

Pro

For freelancers with more client switching, more interrupted work, and more reporting needs.

Recommended
$12 / month

More room for active client work without changing tools later when your workflow gets busier.

  • Unlimited active projects
  • Unlimited clients
  • Advanced reports and grouped exports
  • Better support for higher-volume fragmented billing workflows

Best for

Freelancers handling multiple clients, more active projects, and more frequent task switching across the week.

Both plans include the core SoloHours workflow

Every plan includes manual time entry, a running timer, one-click task continuation, billable and non-billable tracking, invoiced and uninvoiced tracking, project rates, and the reporting workflow needed to turn tracked work into invoice-ready records.

Frequently asked questions

Do you limit clients?
No. SoloHours limits active projects on Starter, not clients.
What happens if I downgrade from Pro to Starter?
Your historical data stays intact. If you have more than 5 projects, the oldest excess projects become locked until you upgrade again.
Can I mark time as invoiced?
Yes. You can track invoiced and uninvoiced entries, then export only the work that still needs to be billed.
Can I track non-billable work too?
Yes. SoloHours supports both billable and non-billable work, so internal admin and client work do not get mixed together.
Is SoloHours useful if my work happens in short bursts?
Yes. That is one of the main reasons SoloHours exists. It is built for interrupted, fragmented work that is easy to undercount when you rely on memory.

Choose the plan that fits your workload

Start simple, track the work you usually forget to bill, and upgrade only when your active project load grows.
